By downloading, installing, or using the LeXpand Chrome extension ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

LeXpand is a text expansion utility designed for local usage in the Google Chrome browser. The Service allows you to create and manage text snippets, expanding shortcuts into full phrases. An optional Google Drive synchronization feature allows you to sync data across your personal devices.

3. Privacy and Data Use

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal information and protect your privacy when you use our Service. The Service primarily stores data locally. Any integration with Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy.

4. User Responsibilities

  • You are solely responsible for the content of the snippets you create and expand using LeXpand.
  • You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful or prohibited activities.
  • If you use the Google Drive Sync feature, you understand that your data will be synchronized using your personal Google account.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

In no event shall the developers of LeXpand be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses resulting from the use or the inability to use the Service.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Service (or any part thereof) with or without notice. We may also update these Terms of Service from time to time. Your continued use of the Service following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
